What's in a name? Some explenations about our name
Cape Hermitage
CH				Confoederatio Helvetica Thats where we come from
Cape				The Cape, Cape Town, here we are now
Hermitage				The only South African originating vine Pinotage was created in 1925 in Stellenbosch crossing Pinot noir and Hermitage (Cinsaut) vine. We imported wine from South Africa to Switzerland over the last 10 years.
Hermitage				The hermit's home is a Hermitage in seclusion. We are also a bit away from our homecountry but not secluded at all and we like to share our Hermitage (British understatement?!) with guests.
